Sky Coverage for DEEP2 DR1

The lightly shaded regions show the total planned sky coverage in three of the four DEEP2 fields. The darker regions are the DEIMOS slitmasks included in DR1. This initial DEEP2 data release only includes DEIMOS data from the first season of spectral observations and therefore does not include any spectra in the Extended Groth Strip (field 1).

This map shows three of the DEEP2 fields with the CFHT photometric pointings numbered in red. The fourth DEEP2 field not shown here, the Extended Groth Strip, is covered by four CFHT pointings number 11, 12, 13, and 14.
